Singer Tommy Lion left the band in 2011.

Unfortunately we could not replace the unique voice and personality of Tommy Lion.

We have therefore decided to dissolve DRIFTER.

A big THANK YOU to you all for the great support.

DRIFTER with new bassplayer

Due to different opinions about the future goals of DRIFTER, Michael Messerli and DRIFTER parted ways.

We wish Michael all the best for the future.

The new bassplayer is called Gabor Szabo.
In the past he played in various Underground Metal Bands from Switzerland.

US Label releases original DRIFTER Demos on CD

Re-release of the original Demo Tapes "Tales Of Dragonia" and "Beyond The Burning Circles" from the year 1985 and 1986.
The CD will be released by the US Label Stormspell Records.

Enhanced multimedia CD including video clip and bonus Live Track.

It will be limited to 1000 copies, first 250 of which would be special die-hard edition with extra glossy UV-coated hand-numbered slipcases and including woven patch as free bonus.

Out on October 23-rd 2006
